Dark Amelia accepts tips, documents, corrections, memories, rumors with receipts, family legends, old clippings, court files, arrest reports, meeting minutes, photographs, and stories that have spent too long smiling politely in the dark.
Send tips to:
Useful things to include:
- What happened
- When it happened, if you know
- Where it happened, if you know
- How you know
- Whether there are documents, photos, articles, court records, or public files
- Whether your name may be used, or whether you prefer to remain unnamed
A good tip does not have to be polished. It does not have to be dramatic. It does not have to arrive with thunder.
But receipts help.
Dark Amelia is especially interested in stories involving public records, local memory, civic amnesia, courthouse paper trails, island scandals, strange history, ghosts, cons, snitches, buried history, and things everyone somehow knows but nobody wants to say first.
Please do not send threats, vendettas without evidence, private medical information, children’s names, or anything you would not want read aloud in a room full of lawyers.
Corrections are welcome.
Receipts are adored.
Threats are boring.
The polite fog has had a good run.
